DoDo is ready to transform the home delivery market through its broadening service. Today the Czech startup celebrates a successful first year of operation in Hungary. Dodo’s data-driven logistics and Last-Mile solution offers a particularly efficient way of delivery for clients with managing delivery tasks with extra fast deadlines of up to half an hour, which has become especially appreciated during the pandemic. DoDo entrusted FLOW PR with planning and implementing its Hungarian market entry campaign.
As a result of the pandemic period, the importance of e-commerce has increased significantly, classic retail players are also moving in this direction. Many service providers tried to manage their delivery in-house, but experiences showed that it is not their competence, it’s much more effective, time- and money-consuming to outsource this activity to those who are experts in this field, like DoDo. The past year has shown that there is a demand not only for the delivery of food or ready meals, but consumers also require to have easy and fast access to any product through online ordering.
“Fast home delivery has become more important than ever, and individual businesses can operate more efficiently by outsourcing this part of their services to dedicated service providers. Due to our new and innovative city logistics we are able to offer a sustainable and effective way of delivery to our partners. We by DoDo also know that our couriers represent our company towards end customers, therefore, we place great emphasis on their proper and continuous training” – said Mr. Károly Sáfár, the Hungarian representative of DoDo.
DoDo has developed a unique platform itself, and thanks to this expertise they can manage high-performing data approach. A huge amount of collected data are deeply analyzed, demand, traffic situation and capacity can be predicted. This is where sustainability come into play, hence the accurately assessed resource requirements mean no unnecessary cars on the streets. As part of the smart city model Last-Mile delivery means that cars and couriers travel smaller distances. While most logistics companies deliver to the same area at the same time, it is quite inefficient and unecological. By making optimal use of the incoming real-time data, the most optimal utilization of the fleet can be achieved, which has a positive effect on the cityscape and its surroundings.
